General Information About T-Shirts

Saturday, March 27th, 2010

In today’s age where the most common dress apparel is T-Shirts and a pair of jeans or even becoming more common a T-Shirt and a pair of dress pants, keeping your t-shirts looking good is important. T-Shirts are not just weekend wear anymore and in fact have become a staple in today’s fashion wear.

The material that most t-shirts are made of are a cotton blend, for this reason they get stretched out of shape easily and color fade as they are worn washed and dried. In order to keep these garments looking as good as the day they were purchased a few simple steps should be followed. First, no throwing them on the floor with the dirty jeans, this will surely have them stretched out of shape quickly.

Second, use a mild detergent when washing them and never wash them with your jeans or pants, even if they are the same color, again stretching and discoloration can results from such t-shirt abuse. Third, it is best to wash them inside out, as this can prevent discoloration spots throughout the shirt. Third, never dry these items. Drying is the death of the t-shirt. After washing lay them flat to dry being sure not to stretch them. Long live T-shirts.

Revolutionary T-shirts

In its earliest conception the Mazui Foundation was created as a means to promote all ages punk rock shows. Years later Mazui Foundation decided to start printing t-shirts for its own amusement and identity. Noticing that others appreciated the designs Mazui Foundation started printing more to give away, leading eventually to the idea of selling them. As the heated political environment of the new millenium had effects on the lives it, too, inspired its designs to encompass more social weight.

The more impactful its designs became, the more it challenged the hypocrisy of the new business. While Mazui Foundation formerly knew very little about where the clothes on the backs really came from, it was time to find out. After a little research, Mazui Foundation realized that being sweatshop free needed to be at the core of the business model. Mazui Foundation is representative of the working class and its products must carry the statement of a fair wage.
